-  ModaLisboa,  ModaLisboa Collective

As it has happened in recent editions, Calvelex, in partnership with ModaLisboa, dresses the Staff that will guide the 53rd Lisboa Fashion Week. The camouflaged fabric came directly from the Portuguese Army archive: it is therefore original and this reuse is part of the sustainability values shared by these three partners.

Founded in 1985, Calvelex, guided by the good principles and teachings of traditional tailoring, is now a quality benchmark in women's apparel manufacturing for the high end and luxury market segment. The constant investment in technological evolution and innovation in the services provided are factors that differentiate Calvelex. In this context, and recognizing that it is increasingly important to create foundations for the development of fashion, Calvelex promotes the project Fabrics4Fashion as the sustainability seed of this sector.

In order to boost creative potential, Fabrics4Fashion acts as a partner in the field of raw material sourcing, providing a huge variety of the latest European fabrics on one platform with a minimum purchase of just 1 meter per reference, thus minimizing the costs in developing a collection. This is how the doors of the textile industry are opened to fashion designers.

With over 7500 ready-to-go fabric references, Fabrics4Fashion also offers a showroom with a team specialized in trend research that supports young designers in their selection of raw materials. This is what we talk about when we say that fashion has to work collectively.
