Valentim Quaresma is one of the 26 artists represented in the collective exhibition, "Library", open until August 13, at Espaço Exibicionista, in Lisbon. Books are the central theme of the exhibition.
26 artists present unique works based on 26 different books. Valentim Quaresma was inspired by the novel “The Hours” by Michael Cunningham and presents a unique work that explores time and the anachronism of thought. “Michael Cunningham reflects in this book a correlation between the present, the past and the future, exploring feelings such as anxiety and hope in which time is the protagonist. This dialogue is always present in my work, where I explore the anachronism of thought”, explains the artist.
