Presentations, talks and workshops. We already talked about the shows so, AND NOW WHAT?
MODALISBOA AND NOW WHAT? schedule was though in two distinct axes: the one that completes the Designers’ in-person presentations, for an exclusive audience, and the one that best serves our digital audience, which has free access to content. Therefore, with an alignment of strategically planned #Talks; a redesigned Wonder Room; and an enlarged #Community area, Lisboa Fashion Week is back. And it comes full of questions.
8 — 10 OCT
ONLINE + ONSITE
Exclusively face-to-face conversations and workshops, without livestream. Exclusively digital conversations and workshops, with content and open to everyone. We focused on the questions to which we want answers and turned to international speakers — like Javier Goyeneche, from ECOALF; Orsola de Castro, from Fashion Revolution; or Giusy Bettoni, from C.L.A.S.S. —, to our Designers —Joana Duarte; Luís Buchinho and Nuno Gama — and to names from our community who make us want to be better —Tiago Manaia; Isa Toledo and Damara Inglês — so they can give us clues about the future. Or, at least, so they can force us all to think.
But we also want to act. For that end, there are two workshops with ModaLisboa Designers — Constança Entrudo and Trimalhas; and Ana Duarte and C.L.A.S.S. — both focused on the practical aspects of design and on implementing change.
Last but not the least, it will be at ModaLisboa that Filomena Silvano will present her new book, Fashion Anthropology, in a session that will take us on a journey though the various dimensions of the discipline in which we work every day.

ONLINE + ONSITE
It is in the community that we live and it is for the community that we create. At MODALISBOA AND NOW WHAT?, the community is once again online, but this time it also has a physical space for all Lisboa Fashion Week guests.
In the complete digital program, ModaLisboa will present exclusive content from its partners: MOCHE serves as a home for Sangue Novo, and introduces us to all the young Designers in competition; APICCAPS tells us the stories of its leather goods; MODAPORTUGAL transports us to EXPO2020, in DubaI; AORP takes us to London; and Bellissimo challenged ModaLisboa President, Eduarda Abbondanza, to talk about innovation.
When it comes to physical events, not to be missed, HIBU opens its studio during ModaLisboa – on the 7th for guests and on the 08th and 09th for everyone who wants to get to know, up close, one of the coolest brands in the city. On the Capitólio venue, there are exhibitions to see: APICCAPS presents Portuguese SHOEStainability, about the various steps taken by the footwear industry towards sustainability: and MODAPORTUGAL (CENIT/ANIVEC) shows us the uniforms designed by Filipe Augusto for EXPO2020.
