This story of past, present and future premieres on RTP2, on October 30th, at 7:50 pm.
When everything seems to have been done before, how can we talk about Fashion, sustainability, tradition and innovation on national television in a practical, relevant and indelible way? With our hearts.
Portuguese Soul, APICCAPS and RTP2’s new TV show, arrives this month with eight documentary episodes on raw materials: cotton, leather, plastic, cork, wool, wood, gold and bio-materials may be the major themes, but Gisela João’s guidance deepens this journey of discovery to tell the stories of the hands that shape them.
The team for this production by Brighter Films — coordinated by Paulo Gonçalves and Cláudia Pinto — traveled across the country and dived into factories, ateliers and workshops, to talk to industrialists, artisans, designers and specialists about everything that touches our skin. The documentary series will be a portrait of the soul of our know-how.
