This digital event will be the centre stage for conversations about circular economy, conscious design, new materials and innovation in traditional raw materials — such as leather -—and has guests who promise to challenge everything we know about the footwear industry. To compelling names like João Pedro Matos Fernandes, Minister of Environment and Climate Action, Hülya Sevindik Özyiğit, Regional Sustainability Manager at H&M, Carlos Pimparel, Director of Energy Sustainability at the General Directorate of Energy and Geology or João Carvalho, founder of Artspace João Carvalho, the schedule adds professionals who are no strangers to ModaLisboa, such as Luís Onofre, Adriana Mano, from Zouri, or Marita Setas Ferro, from Marita Moreno. The moderation of the five conversations also promises to keep the pace: Renato Duarte, Rádio Renascença, Maria Martinho, Observador, Lígia Gonçalves, Portuguese Soul, Ilídia Pinto, Dinheiro Vivo, and Susana Ribeiro, What's Up, will be the conductors of these debates.
In addition to an important free admission digital training week, this event is also a review and celebration of the presentation of the Action Plan for Sustainability in the Footwear Industry in Portugal, from APICCAPS and CTCP, exactly one year ago.
