31 collections, 21 fashion shows, 9 LAB designers, 6 New Blood finalists, 4 designers Workstation, 4 days of MODALISBOA INSIGHT, between 7th and 10th March, in 4 different locations, in an edition that wants to be a cross-sectional reflection about the new dynamics and motivations created by fashion.
On Thursday, 7th March, we present the 4 Workstation designers and the Fast Talks conferences under the theme Fashion Experiences, in the recently opened Carpintarias de São Lázaro – the new cultural centre in the Santana hill, Lisboa.
Friday, 8th March, we unveil the catwalk of the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes with the Sangue Novo competition final fashion show that marks the start of the official Fall / Winter 2019/2020 presentations of our designers.
Saturday, 9th March, we start with Constança Entrudo fashion show inside The Mustik Warehouse and we end with the menswear brand Ernest W Baker debut in MODALISBOA - founded in 2016 by the Portuguese designer Inês Amorim and the American Reid Baker, in the concept store Tem-plate, in Marvila area.
Within the collaboration between ModaLisboa association and ANJE, responsible for Portugal Fashion, the Portuguese designers Carlos Gil and Nycole are going to present their collections in the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
ModaLisboa Insight intends to reflect on the challenges suggested by the desire to question and rethink the image portrayed by fashion – a wish to find a break-even point between the artistic individuality and the partake of knowledge, between the emotional irreverence and the emergency to work in a network the signature of a community, of a country and of an era.
