MODALISBOA DESIGNERS SHOW IN MILANO AND PARIS

As a result of the partnership between Associação ModaLisboa and Portugal Fashion, Gonçalo Peixoto will integrate Milano Fashion Week, and Constança Entrudo and Ricardo Andrez will showcase their fall/winter 2021/2022 collections at Paris Fashion Week.

In a fully digital season, in which the physical barriers of the presentations are surpassed by creativity and conceptual audacity, the three ModaLisboa Designers will reveal their collections to a global audience, focused on the voices of the future.

 Gonçalo Peixoto’s presentation – a nostalgic journey through dance floors and the inherent desire for freedom – is already tomorrow, in the first day of Milano Fashion Week: February 23, at 9 am, on the official platform of the digital event. Then, we’ll “fly” to Paris. Constança Entrudo, that based her collection on an introspection that overflows in the materiality of landscapes, and Ricardo Andrez, that brings a symbiosis between poetry and the chaos of the world in which we live, will showcase their work in the virtual platform of Paris Fashion Week – the Parisian Fashion Week takes place from March 1 to 9, and the exact date of the presentation of the two ModaLisboa designers will be announced soon. Three voices, three visions and three identities that will share with the international community the Portuguese creative capital and that will be at MODALISBOA COMUNIDADE to tell us their stories – from April 15-18, at ModaLisboa.pt.

This integration of ModaLisboa Designers in international Fashion calendars is another one of the actions resulting from the Cooperation Agreement signed between Associação ModaLisboa and Portugal Fashion in 2018. In July 2019, an application (approved in July 2020) was formalized by ANJE, within the scope of the Support System for Collective Action – Internationalization, that provided solid ground for this partnership between the two entities that share the common goal to communicate, disseminate and promote the Portuguese fashion talent in international calendars. This articulation and strategic cooperation, focused on the sector’s valorization, is now seeing its first achievement and will continue to be nourished so that Portuguese creativity knows no borders.
