The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, a partnership between Impact Hub Lisbon and the US Embassy, elected Joana Duarte as the grand prize winner.
There were three months of online training, which combined talks with mentorships with experts, for 50 female entrepreneurs. The three finalist projects — BÉHEN, Muka and R-Coat — received a total of US$30,000 to invest in their brands, the result of an incentive, acceleration and sharing program between the organization and all the participating women.
With this award, BÉHEN will be able to consolidate its vision of empowering women's communities, with work that perpetuates the legacy of Portuguese know-how.
