António Castro (Lisbon, 1993) graduated in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, in London, in 2016. Interned, in 2012, with Lidija Kolovrat, in Lisbon, and in 2016 at Trend Union / Li Edelkoort, in Paris.
In 2018 and 2019, he worked in the Maison Margiela's textile department of the Artisanal collection, in Paris and, in parallel, worked as a developer of hand-woven textiles for John Alexander Skelton, in London.
He is currently doing his Fashion Masters at Central Saint Martins as the recipient of the L'Wren Scott Scholarship.

With the collection ‘Young Bright Things. Young Bright People’, made from the reuse of old fabrics, used end-of-stock materials and transformed vintage pieces, António Castro transport us back to the artisanal universe of raw fantasy, free exuberance and a return to concept and aesthetics.
