Lucie Brochard grew up at the crossroads of different cultures. She embodies the intermix between Asia and France. Graduated in 2007 from the school of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, she won the first prize Kobe GHGF-ESCP contest in 2006, which gave her the opportunity to discover Japan and China. In 2008, she studied menswear and photography at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. She gained a vast experience by working at renowned luxury houses. Lucie completed her experience in the urban world at Nice Collective, in San Francisco, and Freeman T. Porter.
Lucie Brochard's designs are filled with character, originality and a sense of escape. Above everything else, the designer shares with us a sensory experience. Vibrant colors picked from the urban landscape of her stopovers, the delicate touch of different silks and pleats. The combination of the tailoring and flow characterizes her collections.
PARIS EMOTION takes back to the city of personality. It explores the Parisian attitude: confident, uninhibited, discrete and always in a hurry. This collection is inspired by iconic pieces made by 50's/60's French designers, with reinterpreted volumes. The extra large draped smart trousers or fitted skirt are combined with a long, slightly curved sleeve, jacket, and unstructured tunic blouses. To top them, an oversized jacket or a trench coat. This translates into a strong and masculine silhouette with a feminine sensuality. In the tones of grey, blue, khaki, black, with shiny, satiny, matte texture; the whole is enlightened by audacious colors: ochre, rust and flamboyant red, pleated and transparent. This FW 2020/21 season is rich in emotions, a Parisian wardrobe with an airy casual look that sublimates the natural elegance.
