Ari Paiva was born in 1992. Graduated in Fashion Design by Modatex and with previous training in Interior and Exterior Design, Ari has his own creative universe and finds in Fashion the best way to express himself.
Since a young age, he likes to illustrate his perspective, from landscapes, people and his own imagery, almost abstract, as well as a feeling, shapes, colors and textures.
In the course of my life, one thing that fascinates me is the process of interior / individual change. In my imaginary I portrait a person taking on several shapes, as striking shapes that overlap one to another, deformed, imperfect and oversize silhouettes, as if it were an outline of each behavior.
The oversize pieces with the tighter pieces take this behavior. The tighter pieces, such as top and bodysuits, allow to distort the silhouettes, being possible to pull parts of the interior pieces to the outside through openings. The tighter pieces reflect the most agonizing phases that contract the silhouette, while the oversize ones convey its evolution.
At the chromatic palette of white or more burnt tones translates a conceptual part of the collection’s narrative as memory during each change.
